The October 2014 edition of the AARP Bulletin (p. 29) lists a number of great opportunities that want to pay you for your opinion. I know...right?! (Editor's 2019 note: These links are still viable and you can still sign up to earn money with these companies.)
- focusgroup.com and findfocusgroups.co pay up to $150 and more for a couple hours of your time reviewing goods and services. My sister used to do this for extra cash and is now running focus groups herself. The money is great and you get to try out lots of products (she had big boxes of candy in her fridge from one survey). Do they really call this work??? Sounds like a good time to me!
- harrispollonline.com offers listings of surveys, and in return you earn points that can be redeemed for gift cards.
- Have you every wanted to be on a jury of a juicy court case, or at least be a fly on the wall? At ejury.com and onlineverdict.com you get paid up to $60 for being an online jurist, helping attorneys with actual upcoming cases.
Next time someone says "Who asked you for your opinion?", you can say, "Lots of people PAY me for my opinion!"
